Florida, Texas, and USC are ranked at this point based on Rep. Alabama and Oklahoma St beat quality opponents. If I was able to vote I'd vote Alabama as #1 at this point. Anyways it doesn't matter now, things will all change and become more clear around weeks 6-8.

4. The top 3 didn't really play challenging teams
It will be interesting to see those 3 play more evenly-matched teams. When a team plays a creampuff, it's hard to really get a feel for what they can do in the bigger games.

5. Half of the Big 12 in in the top 25.
And only two Pac 10 teams are there?

Hell, there are three Mountain West teams on the list!

6. there's some real circular logic going on with the SEC and Big 12
They're the best conferences because there are so many ranked teams and there are so many ranked teams because they're the best conferences. LOL

8. It's called reputation...which is an unjustified reputation...
...let's put in a play-off system and see who quickly these pretenders drop.

13. Actually I'm heading to my regional office in Boca
I live in Orlando---

My boss called for a team meeting that day---coincidentally the day of the game.

So--- I'm gonna miss the team dinner and head to Landshark all by my lonesome.

That's OK--- it's easy getting a scalp ticket and easier to upgrade once in the stadium.

10. A Big East team finally breaks in...
With three more in the "Others Receiving Votes" list.

Can't wait for basketball season to start up so we can be dominant again.
