Wow. I can't believe West Virginia lost.

I listened to the first half on the radio in the car, and WV was just shooting the lights out.

As much as I still want to run Pitino's head through a wall for his epochal hatchet-job on the Celtics while he coached here, I'm glad he is back doing what he does best. He is a phenomenal college coach, and I guess this win was one for the books.

6. I was cheering on WVU...

... but I have to hand it to the Cardinals. Their defensive play was outstanding and Patino made the necessary changes at halftime to turn the game around. Of course, Louisville has a richer roster of athletes; Pittsnogle, though he played his heart out, can't win games by himself against a team like the Cardinals.
