Oregon 31
Utah-24

Good to see another pretender from a lesser conference fall by the wayside.

1. I was rooting for Utah
Edited on Sat Sep-19-09 06:24 PM by JonLP24
The commentators said they lost a lot of players from last season.

Iowa beat Arizona though. :bounce:

2. Every team loses players
and they were still ranked...

If last year's Utah team had played in the Pac 10, they would have lost at least 3 games.

3. I don't care about all that
I just hate Oregon and wanted Utah to win. I'm glad Iowa won against my least favorite team, BYU is the only team I hate more then UofA.

when any Pac 10 team plays out of conference, it's all about the conference's reputation...

In conference, it's a different story...

6. I think the Pac-10's rep is fine
Edited on Sat Sep-19-09 06:52 PM by JonLP24
USC's last 7 out of 8 losses came to Pac-10 teams and they have a strong out of conference showing so far. It's up to my Devils to do their part next week between the hedges. Though I do like teams from other conferences I like more then some Pac-10 teams, for example, I like Colorado State more then any Pac-10 team besides Arizona St.

13. Who would have ever guessed that someone would care enough to make Arizona their most
hated team? I didn't even figure they were a blip on anyone's radar of sports hating.

17. Hate is probably too strong of a word
I just don't want them to win 99% of the time.

18. No offense
but Louisiana Monroe is not exactly a quality opponent. Still, at 38-7 in the 3rd qtr, I'm glad to see ASU is not letting the Pac 10 down.

19. I never said they were

But 88 yard return to begin the game is always impressive. I like what I'm seeing out of this team especially on the defensive side. Vontaze Burfict has already met expectations as the #1 Interior linebacker out of high school and Mike Nixon is always where he needs to be.

Edit to add they need to cut down on these penalties but third stringers are in the game so that may explain it.

11. I can't wait
I didn't see the game, I was watching Florida vs Tennessee at the time and fell asleep during halftime and woke up at the tail end of the 4th quarter.
