Fantasy football advice.
Oh who to leave on the bench, who to play.

I am trying to decide 2 out of these three to start

Darren Sproles against the Ravens (Tomlinson is out, so Sproles is starting)
Ronnie Brown vs Indy
Lee Evans vs Tampa Bay.

Advice is much appreciated.

1. Sproles and Brown. I generally go with RB over WR anyway, plus I don't have a lot of faith in Evans

2. The Tampa D is weak, but I am leaning towards Brown over Evans.
It killed me keeping Sproles on the bench last week. Now that Tomlinson is out, I can't see keeping Sproles sitting.

Also, Brown is really a starter, even though it's a running back committee in Miami, where Evans is the 2nd WR.

I am thinking Brown might have a nice game.

Thanks for your advice.

3. If it was me
I'd go with Brown and Evans. Tampa's D gave up a lot of yards thru the air and Trent Edwards seems to be playing well so far. The reason why I sit Sproles is because he is up against the Ravens D. But don't listen to me, I had Percy Harvin and Jeremy Shockey on the bench last week.

4. I hate having high scorers on the bench.
I would've won last week if I played Sproles. Now my choice is to go with the number 1 running back who is a small guy and might be able to avoid Baltimore's largish D-line, or Evans, a number 2 WR who looks like he could have a hell of a game, even though he was "eh" last week.

Argh.

This is fun.

5. I do hope Brown has a huge game as well as Peyton Manning
Both are on my fantasy team. Question though, is it wise to start Santana Moss? I picked him up right after someone dropped him. I waited to long to grab Devery Henderson and Carnel Williams.

I know he had a 'eh' game but I think he will do well. Honestly if I didn't like Brandon Marshall so much I would've picked him up, I watched the Denver vs Cincinnati game and he was targeted a lot, in fact when Stokely made that game winning touchdown the ball was intended for Marshall.

So what do you think of Moss?

6. I'm in the same boat, someone just dropped Santana in my league too.
He and Evans are pretty comparable receivers. I think both of them can be counted on for about 60 yards per game, but only about 5 TDs per year. They aren't the stud guys like Randy or Megatron, but sometimes all you're asking for is 6 or 7 points a week. If you need to fill a WR slot, you could do a lot worse.

7. Moss might have a big game against the Rams
I'm seeing on a lot of the fantasy sites that they are recommending starting Moss. He can have a down game and come back and make all kinds of yardage. He might just do that against the Rams, but the Skins will probably find a way to lose...LOL.

Who are you trying to decide to start him over?

Anyway, here are some links to what the sites are saying.

http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasyfootball/players/playerpage/235234

Santana Moss (vs. STL): Moss did more fighting than catching passes in Week 1 at the Giants when he had two catches for 6 yards but got into a shoving match with Corey Webster. The Rams are a better matchup for Moss, and he should stay out of trouble. The Redskins have to find more ways to get Moss involved, and he is worth starting as a No. 2 wide receiver in deeper leagues or a No. 3 option in formats where you start three receivers. Jason Campbell should play better against St. Louis, and he will benefit by throwing to Moss as often as possible.

From NFL.com

Moss has turned into one of the most inconsistent, and quite frankly, frustrating wide receivers in fantasy football. But when he faces a strong matchup, the veteran is still a viable No. 3 option across the board. That's the case this week against the Rams, who'll enter FedEx Field with the 25th-ranked receiving defense. Again there are never any guarantees, but Moss is worth a roll of the dice in Week 2.

8. The matchup against the Rams is why I have him currently in my starting lineup
Thanks for the links I have them bookmarked. I've been using http://www.fantasysharks.com/index.php They have good information as well.

Right now I have Moss in a Flex WR/R/TE and I have Shockey on the bench because of Philly's D. Willie Parker who struggled against the Titans D and I expect the same against Chicago also I want to see if Pittsburgh uses Mewelde Moore him more then Parker. The other guy is Louis Murphy and the only reason why I picked him up is because if he had back-to-back games where he plays well I didn't want anyone else to get them jump on him before me. His matchup is against Kansas City which looks favorable but not as much as Santana Moss against St Louis.

9. Sounds like you made a good choice.
Thanks for the link, I will check that one out.

I have Fitz on my team, and Andre Johnson. Here's to a good game for our receivers on our favorite teams, and our fantasy teams.

11. Fitz & Johnson, wow what a combo
I have Fitzgerald on my team too. I know RBs early and often but for me if Adrian Peterson isn't available, I pick Fitzgerald.

So yeah, good luck to you. :toast:

13. Not last week. Johnson had 3 points...LOL.
I am hoping this week will be better, and I think it will.

14. How did you do?
I guess Santana didn't do too well. Figures. The Skins couldn't do anything in the red zone.

15. I did well points wise
But my opponent had Shaub(40pts), Gore(40pts), and Chris Johnsons(50pts) so I got blown out and it's head-to-head. I did score better then half the other teams in my league but the only thing that matters is head-to-head.

16. I had Chris Johnson.
I ended up getting 158 points, and the dude I played had 110, which was enough to beat every other team in the league but me. The head-to-head kinda sucks that way.

I was worried about Johnson, he only got me 5 points last week. Dude is fast.

10. The Dolphin front line was embarrassed by Atlanta last week
and will want to prove that they don't suck this week. I expect Ronnie to get some decent touches... I say he'll run for 70.
