3. Tgers' best hope: Greinke
He's pitching today for the Royals. He must cement his Cy Young votes.

4. Send it to the Rockies?
This weekend we may be seeing two epic choke jobs. But at least the Dodgers still have a playoff berth.

5. I hear the Dodgers didn't celebrate when they clinched a spot last Saturday.
Their champagne has been sitting around for a week now. A sure record!

6. Condolences, El Sup
Your Rockies played great in the second half. They deserve to be in the playoffs. Of course, it took ex-Dodger Jim Tracy to whip them in shape!

7. Stay tuned tomorrow at 4 pm CDT
We'll find out starting then.

Oh, oh. I'm being possessed by Chico Marx again. I'm going to start speaking in a horridly phony Italian accent.

We find out tomorrow who gets champagne and who gets a lemonade. If you get a lemonade, you no get champagne, you get a lemonade. That's way it works, boss. Whoever lose tomorrow gets a lemonade. No more baseball for the team that gets a lemonade.

9. Cute, but it's Tuesday.
A football game is pushing it back.

Just why are there two days off anyway? It will snow in Denver this year by the time the Rockies win the World Series. 2007 was lucky.

11. Disgusting
Why should any NFL contest take precedence over even a pre-season baseball game?

Baseball rules!

13. That's no excuse.
Support my proposed Amendment to the Constitution:

Section 1. No regular season National Football League shall be played before the completion of the baseball World Series.
Section 2. The Commissioner of Baseball shall have the authority to extend baseball season until Thanksgiving if necessary.
Section 3. The Commissioner of Baseball shall not be an owner or former owner of any major league baseball franchise.
