2. Records for temperatures
KUSA - Denver set a record low late Friday, a record low Saturday morning, a record coldest maximum temperature Saturday afternoon and will most likely set another record early Sunday morning.

Denver set a record low Friday night at 18 degrees, the old record was 25 degrees set in 1970.

The record low for October 10th was set Saturday morning at 17 degrees with the old record being 25 degrees last set in 1905.

During the day on Saturday the temperature only rose to 26 degrees in Denver, breaking the record for the coldest maximum temperature for October 10th. The old record was 32 degrees set in 2005.

9NEWS Meteorologist Marty Coniglio is forecasting a low of f19 degrees for Denver Sunday morning which would break the record low for October 11th which is currently 22 degrees.

The forecast for the Rockies and Broncos games on Sunday look much better compared to outdoor activities scheduled for Saturday. Temperatures will be in the upper 40s by kickoff Sunday against the Patriots.

The Rockies are set to play the Phillies at 8:07 p.m. Sunday and temperatures will be in the lower 40s to start the game.
