As a big time Giants fan
I have to say yesterday's loss was one of the most painful I can remember.

1. Two at home of the last four...not looking good...
...I didn't see it, other than that last play in highlights, but SD isn't that good this year...if I were you I'd be worried.

2. 5-3 isn't a bad record at this point in the season
If the season ended today the Chargers would be in the playoffs.

4. They looked bad against Denver...at home...
it's just gonna get worse...don't think they're really up there, although we're only at the half-way point, so who knows.

5. Denver is 6-1
who also beat your team which you yourself doubted after just 3 games where they were 3-0. Besides they didn't look that bad as they lost by just 11 where losing by 10 points is common in the NFL. Being at home is an advantage but it's not college where it has that much of an impact. There are no gimmies in the NFL but San Diego on paper should get at least 8 wins, Kansas City, Washington, and Cleveland. So to give them more then that they need to get a few from either Philadelphia, Denver, Dallas, Cincinnati, and Tennessee. I can assure you none of those teams are penciling in San Diego as a win.

7. Loses like that happen
Edited on Mon Nov-09-09 10:55 AM by JonLP24
It may not happen to New England but Pittsburgh who was Super Bowl Champions last year was blown out by Tennessee 31-14. However your predictions have been off the mark all season, look at the standings :P

9. That is the nature of the NFL
Edited on Mon Nov-09-09 11:11 AM by JonLP24
Close victories and close loses. Besides Dallas only had 3 point lead going into the 4th quarter and Denver tied it then got the 51 yard pass. It's not like Dallas had a big lead going in there and blowing it, thus qualifying it as a game they should have won.

A game Denver should have lost was against Cincinnati.

12. You're right, joey. Dallas should have beaten both the Giants and Broncos.

3. After the bye they have a killer schedule that includes
games against Dallas, Philly, Atlanta, Denver and the Vikings. Figure they need a 10-6 record to get into the playoffs. That means they have to win 5 of their last 7. So that means they will have to win 3 out of 5 against those teams.
