Take It Like A Man
I am not writing this about Tim Tebow because of who he is, this is about his reaction today. When I saw Tebow on the sideline crying or nearly crying at the end of the Alabama-Flordia I thought "Take it like a Man". It made things worse for me in that Tebow is not one of those guys who went to college and did not win a national championship. I would probably been okay with it if he had been one of those guys. However, this is a guy who has won at least two championships. When you have won at least two championships in college I expect you to take losing like a man. You stand there, you can look sad or disappointed if you want to, but do not cry.

Yeah...he strikes me as a spoiled brat
Usually I respect guys that show emotion and cry but his tears...well...they just irritated the hell out of me.

2. And
during his prerecorded pregame interview, he intimated that football was no big deal and not important in the scheme of things, so why the tears? And the shots of his parents near the end of the game gave one the impression that their little baby boy losing was really a horrible thing.

Maybe tim will curl up with sarah palin's book tonight and everything will be all right.

John:33-16. Anybody? BTW, BOSS. My name too. I guess Bartholomew is too much on the ol' pumpkin.

9. A mystery to me Condem
I have a bible which I got for a dollar at dollar world and I cannot find a john 33-16 in it. It goes from John 21-25 to ACTS. However John 16-33 states: "These things I have spoken unto to you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer I have overcome the world.

I got the dollar bible for reference purposes relative to the likes of tebow but "16-33" sounds like the guy who doesn't give a damn about the game of football - "I have overcome the world." except that which exists in Alabama.

14. When I was in college...
they gave away bibles for free on every street corner. They made great rolling paper, but I never did read them.

They were incredibly huge when I was in high school (Class of 72), there ONE WORLD was cult status then. And they had a live album which was so well produced it had to be an accident.

White Group on the Motown Label. Some covers, most of their stuff was crap, but they had a handful of gold.

4. It comes from a sense of entitlement.
Christians like Timmy truly think they "deserve" the accolades and blessings and success because Gawd obviously loves them better. NOT getting what they want is extremely difficult to process.
