Plaxico Burress went to Michigan State which has a tradition of bizarrely named players; among others there have been Flozell Adams, Littlejohn Flowers, Napoleon Outlaw, and, I believe right now one of their players is named Sir Daurean something-or-other.

Why would anyone name a child Littlejohn or Flozell?

The Steelers won both of them, so the no Plax = Steelers loss theory needs some work.

The Steelers don't want him to tear a hammy and be gone for the year, since they're going to go deep in the playoffs. :)
