Pac-10 absorbs yet another bowl beatdown
Nebraska 33, Arizona 0. First shutout in Holiday Bowl history. Oddly, also the first rain in Holiday Bowl (San Diego) history. 'Zona went for it on fourth down inside the 10 with a minute and a half to go rather than kick a chip-shot figgie to ruin the shutout.

And to think, had Army upset Navy, they and not UCLA would have gone to the EagleBank Bowl, leaving the Pac-10 winless heading into New Year's weekend. :eyes:

1. Last paragraph--No USC beat Boston College

So they would have 1 win.

Anyways it was great seeing Nebraska put the beat down on Arizona. :woohoo:

5. And I watched that game, too
:dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

I suppose it was the disconnect of watching mighty Troy playing in a game named after a bowl of nuts that made me forget they were even still in the Pac-10.

And how scary would it have been if 'Zona had survived Oregon, then gone on to face Ohio State? :scared:

7. I'm so glad they didn't survive against Oregon
The entire time Arizona has been in the Pac 1O they never won a conference championship thus never playing in the Rose Bowl which is a streak I'm happy the hated Ducks kept alive.

6. Still two wins heading out of New Year's Eve
Stanford blew a halftime lead 'cause they had to play that crummy scrub QB. :(

3. UCLA got outplayed for 3 quarters too
Color me very unimpressed with the "mighty" PAC10

4. Not really
I watched the game and UCLA and Temple was a draw in the first quarter, Temple owned the second quarter and UCLA shut out Temple in the 3rd and 4th.

9. A four-point game hardly qualifies as a beatdown
and you know perfectly well you'd have lost if Luck hadn't hurt his poor widdle finder. :eyes:

10. A loss is a loss, now isn't that right?
And we probably wouldn't have lost any games if: Bradford hadn't hurt his shoulder, Gresham hadn't hurt his ACL, Eldridge hadn't hurt his neck...I could go on. We've had a million injuries.
