6. There needs to be
a national boxing commission. I don't think that it has ever been more evident, than now. What is frustrating is that there could be a fair, even-handed approach, and that there are numerous high-quality people associated with the sport who could serve in such a commission. But promoters (and some managers) don't want that, because they make so much money off the very things that a good commission would address.

and I have to stay off facebook, too. Family harmony, and all. See, my blood relatives wouldn't dare challenge me in terms of politics.
But my husband's family? Conservatives, every last one of them (except hubby, of course). His brother's wife is a vicious woman who is, and I quote, "teaching her children to be redneck southerners." She's from fucking upstate NY. So, needless to say, I antagonize her and her idiot brigade of friends, but I'm delicate.
