1. Jersey Couldn't Beat
Indiana without O'neil, or Orlando without Hill when it counted down the stretch. Now they're gonna beat Miami and the Pistons? I don't think so.......Phoenix hardly plays any defense at all.....both these teams won't make round three. Your winner is the Pistons to repeat over the Spurs in 6. Defense wins championships always has been always will be.

2. Well, I think you have 3 of the final four right.
But none of the final two.

3. well, in the unlikely event the Nets don't win it all
I'd say Phoenix takes it. They remind me of the Nets from 2002/03.

Them against Miami.

4. Well, I'm rooting for Phoenix.
But, alas, I'm not making any predictions that include them in the finals.

Salud.

5. Nets in 6 over Spurs.
New Jersey is playing the best basketball over anyone right now, and they are ten times better than when they went to the Finals 2 years in a row. They play incredible defence, man or zone, their half-court game is unstoppable, and they still run on the fast break.
Everybody is picking the Miami Shak's in the 1st round, but are they as strong as they were in the beginning of the season? Compare the last third of the season and see who's been better. This team turned a pile of crap into a playoff spot.
Nenad is a beefy 7 footer, with great skills. He helped nullify Tim Duncan in their last game this year. Collins is great defensively, and Cliff Robinson can hit from the perimeter. With RJ coming back this could be the Nets year.
First, beat Shak, trample through the East, then rematch with Spurs.

6. Pretty bold pick taking Phoenix over San Antonio in a sweep
IMO, only happens if Duncan has an injury setback or is abducted by aliens.

9. No way that NJ can beat Miami
Detroit and possibly Indiana are the only two teams in the East who can give the Heat a run.

I think the Heat will run into trouble in the Finals against a Western conference opponent, but I doubt they'll be stopped until then.
