US shocks Canada, wins 5-3
Brian Rafalski with a great game, scoring the first two goals and ssisting on another. And the final goal from Phil Kessell being one of the most incredible I've ever seen. Way to go, boys!

2. I think it was Kessler on that empty net goal.
Either way, it was a great goal, and an awesome game.

5. I do sometimes too. Kessler is bigger, that's the only way I can tell at that speed.
:)

3.  Heatley scored again...
but the USA won...that's just an ideal outcome. Though I'd like to see Thornton do something..

7. Thornton's doing a lot. He's in the middle of everything.
Just not showing up on the score sheet, but he's making things happen.

But this game belonged to Rafalski and Ryan Miller.

16. Hey c'mon now..
the Islanders are only 13th. Of course, they got lucky with the Olympic break, otherwise, with the way they're fading, they'd no doubt be lower than that. Look out Maple Leafs.. here come the Islanders

8. Heatley is a machine.
Though if you told me that he and Rafalski would have the same amount of goals I'd think you were nuts.

I'd like to see Bergeron do something. He's been pretty much invisible.

13. I'd love to watch it. I'm usually a night person but have to get up early tomorrow.

And as I watch online there's not even a way to tape it. It should be another a great game. They don't like each other much either.

I'm glad I saw the first two games though. Enjoy the third for me! :toast:

6. Boy that Ryan Miller had quite a game
Canada had shot after shot and Miller stopped them all in the last four or five minutes. Congrats to Team USA and if these two teams should meet again, it will be must see tv.

9. Especially late in the first, early in the second, and again at the end
you can't always count on your goalie to stand on his head like that, but it's great when he does against a tough opponent like Canada! :yourock:
