Plushenko rightfully getting the silver then claiming he was robbed, not even congratulating Evan.

Those phucking racists Russian ice dancers.

ESPN keeps showing the miracle on ice, and they show that friggin' commie quite obviously head butting Craig to make him hit the post. I bet even Forkboy thinks that was dirty.

In 2002 SLUTskya complaining she was robbed of the gold, but she skated so poorly she was lucky she got that.

The Russian mafia screwing up the pairs in 2002 so Sale and Pelletier were robbed, and then to cover it up, they awarded two gold medals in pairs.

2. I eventually get over it...
...but quite frankly, you should have said men's curling.

I guess my point is that while the Olympics are great that they bring all these athletes together, they also bring out a lot of nationalism and poor sportsmanship.

6. Well, uh, good for him, then.
I declare myself the Olympic Diamond Medal winner of the 2010 men's figure skating event! Even though I am not a figure skater. Or a man.

5. They're behaving disgracefully this time out,
though there is some humor in it, I guess.

8. I like their bobsleds
It says RUSSIA in huge bold lettering.

Along those lines, this Olympics stands out in difficulty of identifying the country represented. I love biathlon and cross country skiing but unless you memorize the confusing color schemes from race to race it's damn near impossible to tell who is who.

What happened to the good old days of CCCP, with the plain menacing red?

9. You left one out! 1994: Little Orphan Oksana..
Yeah, Ukraine got the credit, but it was only 3 years after the divorce, no Russian competed, and the usual suspects gave first place to her, despite, iirc, her having started the last round in 2nd place and falling during her routine. Nancy Kerrigan had Baiul's number, mascara and all.

Forget the tire iron. I'm from the Lower East Side: If I'd been Kerrigan, I might have smacked her with a curling rock.
