1. The Sox deserved the spanking they got at the hands of the Os.

The Red Sox did not look like a championship team tonight. Wells had a terrible start: 8 hits and 6 runs in 3.2 innings---Yikes!

Maybe the Sox spent too much of their energy on their "bean ball war" with Tampa Bay last night. I thought that was a feud that had evaporated due to most of the original participants no longer being with either team.

Oh well, a tip of the cap to the Os, they are sitting atop the AL East and the way they are playing, they deserve to be there.

*edit-brain fart*

2. Schilling? it was Wells
Thanks, by the way, I enjoyed the city of Boston a lot when I was there last weekend, and most of the sox fans I talked to sincerely both feared and respected the orioles which made me feel good about my team. By the way, who ever decided to give the sox an irish look with the green hat and red shamrock is a marketing genius, Ive been wearing that thing where ever I go now, well except when I wear a tie.

3. Yeah, I caught my own flub, when they started talking about...
an ankle injury I was flashing back to Schilling's injury.

I don't think any Sox fan takes the Os lightly. Their batting lineup is hitting a ton right now, I'm sure any pitching staff does not welcome the idea of Baltimore coming to visit right now.

Leave the Sox alone. :D

5. They sure beat the poo out of Wells last night
I had a feeling, after the last series between Boston and Baltimore, that those Bird bats were going to wake up.
