Do you know how you spell uncomfortable? Conversation about homosexuality on Sports Talk Radio.
WaPo columnist Mike Wise got into that talk today on his radio show because of a Jim Tressel interview with a Gay publication in Columbus. Wise is very liberal, but generally sports listeners arent. And listening to the conversation got very uncomfortable at times especially since all the callers were calling it "The Gay Thing" like the talk itself would give them AIDS.

2. That is a truism
And another strange conversation I heard recently on Sports talk was about the Canadian National Anthem vs. the American National Anthem. The host, a guy on WSCR in Chicago stated that he liked "O Canada" as a song better than he liked "The Star Spangled Banner". Only as a song. Nothing else. But judging by some of the reaction, he may as well have been some sort of anti American jihadist. Matt Abatacola (sp?) clearly stated that he was judging them on ease and melody alone, but it didn't matter. He was a no good sob and definitely anti American. I say lighten up and enjoy sports for what it is, entertainment. Who cares if a host in Chicago likes one song over another or if they oppose gay marriage? It's sports and nothing else.

"Advance Australia Fair" is the superior anthem.
