Larry Johnson signs with Redskins
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4990553

The Washington Redskins made their biggest free-agent splash Friday night, signing running back Larry Johnson to a three-year contract.

Johnson, a two-time Pro Bowl pick who has run for 6,219 yards and 55 touchdowns in eight NFL seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals, is expected to work with incumbent Redskins running back Clinton Portis.

Awesome. Now the Skins have 2 overpaid malcontent RB's at the back end of their careers. And now they get to split carries.

1. I dont mind the signing.
They need RB depth. Id still think about drafting a RB in the second round as well.

8. Getting depth at RB is fine, but you could probably poach somebody off another teams practice squad
that will give you better production than LJ.

Not to mention that he's a misogynistic homophobic asshole that's a cancer in the locker room.

9. You know, I dont think he'll be a cancer in this locker room.
I think he handled the Bengals thing very well and will handle this well too, especially since he comes into it knowing he isnt the main guy. I'm much more worried about CP being a clubhouse cancer.

2. Booo!
I'm fine with CP. I think Shanahan will work well with him. But not only is Johnson a headcase and not bright but I think he's got no talent left. Especially on a team with a weak oline

13. he was ineffective in KC
then a rookie replaces him and rushed for 1200 yards. He's done and a malcontent. Also, no one is going to be great running for the Skins until they improve their OL.

5. That still doesn't solve their o-line problems. Two malcontents
with no blocking. Yeah, it could be another fun year in DC!!

7. Johnson had been targeted by the Raiders
Shanahan stole him from Al Davis. That's gotta be some sweet revenge.

12. We need a better running game to take pressure off pass rush. I don't have a
problem with this. He'll be part time.
