Albert Pujols is good
Just thought I'd get that out of the way early. The least amount of homers he has had in a season is 32. The lowest batting average he has ever had is .314. He now is a good defensive first baseman. If he retires today, he should be a sure fire lock for the Hall of Fame. But what's scary, at least for the N.L. is that he likely has 10-12 good years left.

1. What's his contract situation with the Cardinals?

3. I think it expires after 2011
But I'm not 100 pct. sure. But they will re-sign him unless the Cardinals management wants to take their lives in their own hands. He is likely the most popular athlete in St. Louis since Stan Musial.

4. I hope they can keep him
Players have been known for wanting to play closer to home or with other teams, so it might be out of the Cardinals' control too.

And I think he'd look good in a Cubs uniform. But truth be told, I hope he stays in St. Louis too.

2. Adam Wainwright is pretty darn good too
I watched the game last night, aside from that fluke inning, he was steller. He even hit a double that started the Cardinals winning inning. He may not win 300 games, but he'll have a couple Cy Youngs to his name by the time he retires.
