...they make it when they're young, lots of times having come from very little...when you're that rich, the rules don't seem to apply to you, or at least they start to believe that.
11. I think Goodell would have loved if he was charged and convicted
because it would have made his decision easy. Roethlisburger dodged a bullet with the girl who decided she wasn't going to help the DA. It's hard to blame the DA for not wanting to pursue a high profile case where the victim (and as far as I can tell, the only witness to the actual attack) doesn't want to cooperate. Unless he can prove Roethlisburger was involved in witness tampering, he doesn't really have much to prosecute with.
I am not trying to say whether or not I think an six game suspension is the best type of punishment, but I do not think it should be reduced to four. I Roger Goodell wanted to suspend him for four games he should have just suspended him for four games. Since he chose to hand down a six game suspension the whole suspension should be carried out.
