1. A slightly partisan reply:
The check's in the mail.

I'll respect you in the morning.

Many morah, but I don't want to piss you off. I figure the 86-year drought give me a bit o leeway.

xoxoxoxoxo,

5. Aww
C'mon man, you guys have made teh playoffs every year since when I started playing baseball and we haven't made it since I was actually good, anyhow, you dont have to worry because the way we're playing, they're gonna make it, hell may even with 100 games.

8. Youve only netted one game in that, its not like we've lost three in a row
Edited on Mon May-09-05 09:14 PM by JohnKleeb
We're still the second best team in baseball. Didcha hear about Danny Cabrera tonight, a masterpiece in the truest form. Tonight's game was more evident that they are more than jsut hitting, the pitching last year loses tonight because the hitting wasnt good enough but because the pitching is improved, they won tonight, only allowed two hits out of the infield and all three hits allowed were singles.

I know it's only three games but you have to start somewhere!!! :)
The Yanks will be in the hunt when it counts. I truly believe that.

18. I dont deny that

but its not like the orioles are slowing down any, they're proving that they can win in more ways with just offense. I'll be worried about the Yankees get the top of the division back when they move up on both the Sox and Jays, oh and when they get over 500 as well/

9. They havent gotten off to a start this good since I believe 1969
A year they won 109 and only lost the world series that year because of the Mets getting some good ole luck, hell I think thats the most games they've ever won in a season, if they keep up, this could be their best team ever, and what a gift for me as I graduate HS. Everyone is doing pretty damn well except Palmeiro who really needs to get his shit together.

12. I could live with Baltimore winning the AL East, as long as...
Boston gets the Wild Card spot ---

and then goes on to win it all. }(

14. Youre gonna have to beat us first
:P
Either way though, I dont think a Sox-Orioles ACLS has happened, and I would love to see one, it would be classic, probably go to 7 games. To tell you all the truth, I'll just be happy to get to 500 still and very happy if they make the playoffs, insanely happy if they win a playoff series, drunken happy if they win the pennant, and whoa my fucking god happy if they win it all. Happyness :D.

17. I don't mind seeing good things happen for Baltimore.
The way they're playing, you're right--anybody who wants to win the Division will HAVE to beat them, but I think Boston can do it.

It would be a great ALCS play-off--Baltimore vs. Boston, and I have a feeling St. Louis will repeat for the Nat'l League Pennant.

Right now the Yankees are showing some signs of life -- 3 in a row, WOOOO - HOOOOOO!-- they don't quite look like that little car with all the clowns in it at the start of the circus, but that funny calliope music still echoes in my head when I see pinstripes. :D
