It is quieter than Nascar and not a problem.

So, good luck.

I am a world cup addict and I have had the sound off since the second match.

23. Ahh, it's the Republiconistas who likely imagine that
Edited on Sat Jun-26-10 11:36 AM by SpiralHawk
They are so busy bowing, scraping, and groveling pathetic apologies to BP and their other corporate overlords, that they are incapable of celebrating the MOST EXCELLENT USA team -- which is boosting America's morale and lifting our stature in the world.

These are pro-American developments that Republicons, according to their own rhetoric, disdain. Sore sports, fer sure.

26. I hardly think a sporting event of any nature is that important.
Great... the USA is doing well in a fucking sport.

But, we're sucking in our economic reform, our environmental concerns, weaning ourselves off oil and providing our workers with good pay, access to education and health care and the jobs we need to even have good pay.

I'm hunting for my ear plugs. My husband is preparing to watch this noise, too. I'd rather watch Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on the BBC channel.

I'm not kidding, there is actually a free computer app to take the sound of the vuvuzela largely out of your audio..

Verdi's Triumphal March from Aida played on the vuvuzela.

OK, I know. I have a twisted imagination.

24. A couple of nights ago as I was having dinner, I heard a familiar awful sound. I immediately
suspected something relating to my kids were behind it. I opened the front door and my younger son's friend's car was parked in front of our house and he came out of it. I asked him if it was a vuvuzela and he said yes. He also said it was more effective than ringing the front door bell.

Kids! Oy vey!

31. The only thing more annoying than the vuvuzela is
hearing people whine and bitch about them. All it does is point out the noise. If you just don't think about it, it tends to fade after a bit.
