USA-Ghana
The US is up against the last African team in the tournament. The US has been playing well for weeks. Ghana is having trouble finding the net. The US hasn't won consecutive World Cup games in 80 years. This is a rematch from 2006 where Ghana won 2-1, but they are not as good this time. Lots of stories. Should be fun!

1. Nate Silver has it even money..
but only because Ghana has a home continent advantage. US is the better side...If they play halfway decently, there's no reason they shouldn't able to win this game..

2. Up the Black Stars!!
I think it will be a tight match but Ghana will win. Best of luck to the Stars and Stripes.

5. What's the temperature there?
The USA coach has a jacket on that looks suitable for Green Bay in January.

I was really unhappy to see Altidore and Findley in the opening lineup. Buddle and Gomez are much more alive.

14. The kid is overrated
Altidore sucks at finishing and the immature attitude the kid has shown during his European club stints will hurt his chances.

15. Well, you've got nothing to be ashamed of.
You played well, were well organised and kept going to the final whistle. That's a couple of lessons England could learn from. Here's to next time.

16. Just beat Ghana and Uruguay..
and they would have been in the semis. I don't know if they'll ever have an easier road. Real disappointing.
