Bryce Harper is Everybody's Least Favorite Sports Fan
He's a Lakers, Duke, Cowboys, and Yankees Fan, because as he says, he roots for teams that win. Something tells me this kid will leave Washington the first chance he gets, because he has no interest in building a winner. He'll be a Yankee just like that.

1. I went to see where he is from
Las Vegas. They don't have teams over there except for UNLV. He had to pick from somewhere so his criteria was winning. Though the Cowboys weren't that great of a team in his formative years as a sports fan.

Zomg he's a front running jerk! :eyes: Also I think we should make sure he has the correct political views as well. :banghead: can we at least wait till someone has actually done anything before deciding he's worthless. Jeezus- this is a stupid and shallow post .

8. He didn't kick dirt on the ump
At least from articles I saw. What he did was draw a line in the dirt to indicate where he believed the pitch was. If that is the worst thing he's ever done I wouldn't call him a jerk. You should of seen me last weekend complaining about calls. :D

9. He drew a line, and in doing so, the dirt got on the ump, and the way he drew the line,
many thought he intnetionally wanted to get dirt on the ump. BTW, he got thrown out of the CWS not simply because of this, but because it was his last chance...not sure if it was like three strikes, but he was doing similar stuff throughout and was warned.

10. LOL
Where is that article? Intentionally drawing a line in a way to get dirt on an umpire?

He was ejected earlier in the year which is why it was a 2-game suspension rather than a 1-game suspension. Anyways I can't find video. The coach said the umpire overreacted.

11. Ok I found video

I could see why people would think he intentionally meant to get dirt on the umpire but I doubt it was intentional and it is debatable whether dirt actually got on him. All he did was draw a line, put his head down and head to the dugout. Overreaction IMO, plus it was outside the zone.

13. I think it was his reputation that made people think it was intentional...
can't prove intentions in court, though. My guess is it was intentional.

15. Sounds like he's as much of a d-bag as A-Hole
Edited on Fri Sep-24-10 01:42 PM by KamaAina
and if he can play like A-Hole, the Natinals might be breathing down the Phillies' necks next year.

edit: or the year after, depending on the situation with Strasburg :(
