6. And the Rockies and the Giants have something in common
they just can't win the big one.

2. They're all American League teams
Discerning, sophisticated baseball fans won't go to a game that uses the DH.

5. True . . .
. . . but they're owned by greedy capitalists who like to fuck the fans by holding them up for a new stadium or else they'll hold a fire sale on star players.

I guess the fans are saying fuck you and move your fucking team to Wall Street.

4. Many Bay Area fans believe A's owner Lew Wolff is trying his damnedest to tamp down attendance
so as to justify a controversial move down I-880 to San Jose, where he has business interests.

Despite it all, the A's had themselves a decent season, including Dallas Braden's perfecto in front of his own Section 209 (the area code for his nearby home town of Stockton)!!

12. Heh. Washington finished ahead of Baltimore.
Hey Peter Angelos, what was that about there being more Baltimore fans in DC than DC fans in DC? Don't think thats true...Of course having a star attraction for part of the season did boost the Nats but still..

11. Kudos to Cleveland for fighting their way out of the cellar...
despite losing to two starters to injury for half a season and another for several weeks.

Baltimore, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Seattle, and Arizona all had worse records.

I'd say this AAA farm club did pretty well for playing in the majors.

14. I thought the answer was
A better record during the last two weeks of the season than the Rays, Yankees and Twins, all playoff teams.
