Vikings waive Randy Moss
Randy Moss was waived by the Vikings on Monday just weeks after Minnesota traded a third-round draft pick to the New England Patriots for the receiver.

Vikings players said Monday that coach Brad Childress told them that Moss "is no longer with us."

Moss will be on waivers for the next 24 hours. The Patriots, who own the NFL's best record, would only have a chance to claim Moss if the NFL's other 31 teams pass. If Moss isn't claimed he will be free to sign with any team.

17. Nothing can overcome that O line
No QB has time to get a ball to a WR, especially one who is best at deep routes.

5. Gah!!!
I picked him first in my PPR league, assuming Tom Brady would be throwing at him all year.

Yer killin' me, Smalls!

6. Well, thanks for the pick, Vikings.
At the rate they're going, it should be a good one. :applause:

I hope Randy finds a team where he feels appreciated.

9. heh, that's what a friend of mine said when he found out
Moss must've gotten to Minnesota and realized what a sinking ship of a disaster that team is.

11. Nope.
It's the Vikes with buyer's remorse. Randy probably has regrets, but he's the product.

15. Yes, giving up a 3rd round is EXACTLY like the Walker trade.
I'm glad they cut him lose. If he's going to wax nostalgic for his old team to the press, fuck 'im. When he didn't even try to catch that pass after the flag went out for pass interference, I knew we had the old Moss back and not a motivated Moss.

I hope this move is indicative of the fact that they are working already to make sure next year's team is solid.

18. Yeah, it's flippin' annoying!
I wasn't thrilled to have dipshit back in the first place, but if he's going to continue taking plays off and getting all weepy for the Patriots, he can go to hell.

The one good part about this season is that Childress, Favre and Moss will not be a part of this team next year.

21. +1
One of the reasons I'll can't get behind the VIkings anymore (I did root for them as a kid in several of their Super Bowl losses) is the Walker trade. They gave the Cowboys at least two, if not three, Super Bowls with that trade.

Never deal with the devil!

The Cowboys are looking for a no-nonsense coach.

20. And they screwed him by not putting him on the list today.
They'll wait until wednesday so it's harder for him to play this week. I'd like to pick him up. Jackson, Maclin and Moss would be sick.

CINCINNATI!

Ocho
TO
Moss

Because Marvin Lewis doesn't have enough wideout crazies on his team.
