+++ NFL Week 12 Picks +++
As promised, posting early to accommodate those of us traveling this week. No Thursday games included -- just be sure to post your picks before Sunday kick-off, 1:00 pm, EST. Asterisk denotes last available point spread -- final spread may be different based on Monday's game (11-22) and injury reports, so use to your advantage. Good luck, and Happy Thanksgiving.

6. I think that...
Pats will (unfortunately) win easily.
I think the Jets will win in OT (again) because for some reason they can't blow out the bad teams.
And of course Dallas will lose.

7. The way the Jets have been
playing these last couple games is gonna come back to bite us in the ass later; that shit won’t fly in the playoffs. Hopefully we’ll find a way to actually have a LEAD once the 4th quarter ends.

But remember this.... two more wins for us, paired with just ONE Patriots slip-up means we win the AFC East... :D

Bluzmann57 (14-15) WEEKS 1 & 2
mitchreject (9-5) WEEK 1
hughee99 (7-7) WEEK 1

*-This pretty much only applies to joey and madinmaryland. To be entered for a percentage next week you need to pay this week. Or you two will be below the line(Sorry I couldn't give this warning sooner). If you don't know, you need a minimum of half of weeks played to be above the line. Last week was 11 so the smaller half was used (5). All other odd number weeks are like this. Since this is week 12 the magic number is 6. Those below the line will be ranked by most wins.

23. Every year a friend and I pick the games each week for a small sum of money at the end.
Most years it's been real close, but not this year. Right now he's picking them correctly at about a 65% rate. It's sick. x(

Anyone over .500 is showing a consistency that I just haven't had this year. I'm lucky to only be 3 games under with the weeks I've had. Last week helped a lot, but I need a couple more like that.

24. I research more from mid-season on...
looking for injuries, specifically, or teams/players that are peaking. Other than that, and gut instinct, it's a coin flip.

25. I started researching myself a couple weeks ago
When I had cable, I saw a lot more games, and saw a lot of NFL highlights. I don't get much of that so I'm unaware of how all the teams are playing. Plus I needed to start develop consistency to climb up the standings. I look at individual passing ypa, defensive ypa, rushing attempts, and rushing defense. I consider injuries that I'm aware of, but with that it has to come to my attention.

26. I actually don't follow much news during the week, and it shows lol.
It's usually just gut instinct for me, which has served me fairly well in the past, but this year has been really tough for me. There's been a lot of games that I just have no feel for at all. Parity sucks for gamblers! :)

21. Alright
Minnesota
Pittsburgh
Tennessee (Would love to pick Houston but they got one of the worst pass defenses in the league)
NY Giants (Again, Jacksonville's pass defense is the worst in the league)
Carolina
Baltimore
Philadelphia (Interesting match-up here)
Green Bay
Oakland
Kansas City (Chiefs and Jets are two teams that I wish my own team was more like)
St. Louis (Tough to figure because of Denver's awful pass defense)
San Diego
Arizona (My birthday-Monday)
