7. No choke. Outplayed and outcoached.
Self didn't need to be there other than slowing the game down at the end of first half with timeouts and TV timeouts.

There were a few bad calls but they equalled out.

VCU outplayed them (totall) and outcoached them. KU was done in the first half.

8. I'm sorry..
but when you're a big favorite and shoot .095 (2-21) from 3 point range, .536 (15-28) from the FT line...that has to be considered a choke. Give VCU credit, but obviously Kansas was feeling the pressure.. and to say they didn't handle it well would be an understatement..

15. The officiating was absolutely horrible
More than a few bad calls. Some of the worst officiating I have ever seen. I say that as the daughter of a coach who literally has been watching basketball all my life.

But that's not why VCU won. They clearly outplayed KU and deserved the win.

19. They narrowed the lead to 4 points at one point in the second half.
The game was not done in the first half.
