1. OK
I got Carson Palmer plans to retire and something about his beard. My Spanish is far from 100%.

3. Crocodile
One has a wider upper jaw(gator) while crocodile's upper jaw and lower jaw are about the same width. You referring to the "cocodrilo" part?

7. caimán
Edited on Wed Jun-29-11 12:17 AM by rabs

is used in Caribbean, Central America and the northern tier of South America. Caimán usually refers to alligators, but some use the word to refer to crocs too.

oh, Cayman Islands = Islas Caimán, for the marine crocs found there during the discovery.

(Factoids for when you go on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire") :-)

(edit -- grammar)

8. I guess that makes sense.
Crocodiles are pretty rare in most of Mexico, with the exception of extreme southern Yucatan. I guess that explains why I'm not familiar with the word.

Remember these things aren't 100%.

CINCINNATI - Chad Ochocinco season recess has been interesting and recently took him to the University of Cincinnati, where trained with the local team, the Bearcats, before promising to fight with a crocodile. After training with the team of the school, Ochocinco told a television network that is convinced that the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, Carson Palmer, speaks seriously about their plans retirement. "One thing you have to understand about Carson." "When a type is allowed to grow his beard without care, that says it is going to do something that is seriously," said receiver. "Seriously." That is completely out of his personality. When someone let the beard grow as well and says it will withdraw if he is not to be changed, do it seriously. "It is unfortunate, but it is." With their leader close to the team, Ochocinco has begun to explore College videos of Andy Dalton, who could end up commanding the Cincinnati offensive in the next campaign.

Looks like I misread the part about retirement. I thought it said "plans to retire" shows what I know.

Chad Ochocinco Says QB Carson Palmer 'Means Business' With Retirement Talk

Found 3 days ago on GridironFans.com:
PLAYERS: Chad Ochocinco, Carson Palmer, Andy Dalton
TEAMS: Cincinnati Bengals

Chad Ochocinco told Fox19 that he's convinced Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer is serious about plans to retire. "There's this one thing you have to understand about Carson. When a guy that grows a random beard says he's going to do something, he means it," said Ochocino. "Seriously. Seriously, That's totally out of his character. When someone like that grows a random beard and says he's going to retire -- if he doesn't mean traded -- he means business. And it's unfortunate, but it is what it is." With their leader on the outs, Ochocinco has begun studying college film of Andy Dalton, who might wind up commanding Cincinnati's offense this season. "Ah, I love (Palmer), you know that, you know how I feel about him and I always will. Everything I've done, I like to say that Carson is the reason for my success -- as so is everybody else. But, you know, he's the quarterback, period. And I think he's in a frustrated state, similar to what I was couple of years ago. And ah, hopefully everything comes around. I understand we drafted Andy Dalton, who is a great quarterback, and after getting him, I've done my own homework in watching him ... and he's really good."

Chad Ochocinco Plans to Wrestle Alligators in Florida, Continuing Wide Receiver's Unpredictable Offseason
Found 2 days ago on NESN.com:
PLAYERS: Chad Ochocinco
TEAMS: Cincinnati Bengals

Some NFL players have found unique ways to keep busy during the NFL lockout, and Chad Ochocinco is no exception. But Ochocinco, who's as unpredictable as they come, might just be going a bit too far, as the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver plans to wrestle alligators. Ochocinco has already had an interesting offseason, testing his luck at bull riding and trying out for a Major League Soccer team. But wrestling alligators even goes beyond Bengals owner Mike Brown's crazy suggestion that the wide receiver take up snake wrangling. "I just one-upped . I am going to wrestle alligators," Ochocinco told...

This player's Spanish also leaves something to be desired:

"Ochocinco" = "eightfive"

The number of his jersey in English = "eighty five."

In Spanish, that is "ochenta y cinco." (literaly, "eighty and five")

Announcers would have to learn to say "OH CHEN TIE SEEN KO."
