Poll question: Which NFC team in the final wildcard spot race will make it?
Edited on Mon Dec-20-04 05:54 AM by Champ
I'm pretty confident Minnesota(or Green Bay) will grab the first wildcard slot with an 8-6 record, there is a 3 way tie for second with 6 wins as well as 7 teams who are only 1 game behind the final wildcard spot leader, so who out of the pack of 6-8's and 5-9's will emerge? All the teams seem about equal with their own strengths and weaknesses.
Whoever votes Chicago, let me ask you.. why??? They haven't scored more then 8 points the last 2 games and the Grossman injury has left Chicago possibly the worst off of any team when it comes to the options of QBs available, Arizona, SF, Miami, and Washington(Ramsey however is still young and could turn out to be the QB of Washington's future) are also teams in desperate need of a solid QB as well.

1. This spot was out there for any of the 5-7 teams to take
and it keeps looking like none of them want it enough.

2. After the last two games my Rams have noooooo chance.
And even if they went to the playoffs, I think they would get a five-alarm ass kicking anyway.

3. Sorry about the Rams

5-4 is a good place to be, but then going on to lose 4 out of their next 5 while they only needed one extra win to be ahead in the final WC spot must be frustraiting for Ram fans. Just like Denver starting 5-1, 3-0 in division play then going 3-5 and letting another team take the division. Especially Schottenheimer :puke:

4. Carolina probably. I want Arizona in though.
That would be a great story.

5. I voted for the Bears. Why?
Because I am an old-school Chicago sports fan in the mold of Ernie Banks, who said with conviction, 'I always believed that we would be world champs until mathematical elimination.' Where there is hope, there is a Chicago sports fan clinging to it!

Good luck to ALL DUers teams when not playing the beloved!
