the halfway point in the season.

That place sucked worse than the Pirates.

And 1993 was the first year of the Rockies! I followed them on short wave radio and the International Herald Tribune.

5. Halfway point is 81 games, not 82..
From what I've seen, the Pirates have a chance of actually ending that humiliating losing streak they are on. Of course they're the Pittsburgh Pirates, they'll probably fuck it up somehow..

You know, the fact that you're whooping it up over something as mundane as finishing over .500, is just further demonstration of how far this once proud franchise has fallen..too bad.
