2. One more point and they will have an insurmountable lead.
Soccer is the most boring sport on the planet.

4. Oh shit, you have GOT to be kidding me.
These refs are seriously incompetent, and they may have just cost us this match.

5. I guess the F's in FIFA stand for "fixed".
Pathetic officiating.

6. Whew ! Last second USA goal

They are about to go to penalties.

Oh, for the poster above, there are no "points" in football. Get a clue.

Mens world cup also.

What happened to the US mens team against Slovenia was a travesty.

15. OMG that finish
That Brazil player who flopped cost her team the game. That extra time was key.

19. Damn! What an ending. I was so disgusted at the officials, I nearly
tuned out.

The Japan/Germany match was ass kicking good too.

Nico Rosberg is wrong about Women's football. It rocks!

20. Germany seemed complacent throught the whole game
Seems like the worst refereeing I see is in women's sports.
Used to watch a lot of women's college b-ball and it used to be horrendous.

Well, that (US v. Brazil) turned out to be about the most exciting single game I have ever seen.

21. That was amazing. My wife usually doesn't pay attention to futbol, but she
Was howling, cheering, and totally enjoying the game.

Props to Marta. She's one he'll of an athlete. She didn't deserve to get grief for the referee's screwups.

23. Awesome game! The way they came back & won was incredible!
I couldn't believe the way they came back in the final seconds & scored that goal! That cross by Megan Rapinoe, then that header by Abby Wambach! Then the tie, then the penalty kicks. That save by Hope Solo, then that goal by Ali Krieger. One of the best games ever, so exciting. Great weekend for sports, loved watching Derek Jeter get 3,000, too!

24. As one of the announcers said, it was a script Hollywood would have rejected as implausible.
THAT was some fabulous football!

Except for the part about resisting the urge to throttle both the Aussie ref and a handful of the Brazilian drama queens.
