1. This paragraph says it all
“Government counsel doesn’t do just what government counsel can get away with doing …I’m very troubled by this. A lot of government money has been used to reach this point. The government should have been more cautious. I don’t see how I can un-ring the bell.”

Good decision judge.

2. Idiot prosecuting attorneys...good call by the judge...
What assholes, they really do think they're above the law.

4. Well they are taking their cue FROM Clemens
who has acted for YEARS like he was above the law. Clemens in a slimy lying bastard, hope he gets retried. As much as I hate cheaters, I hate liars worse. And lying to Congress IS perjury no matter how much you dislike Congress or them being involved. But hey, he's rich and he's white, he'll get off I'm sure.

6. Oh, I have no doubt he's guilty...
But these damn prosecutors get so high and mighty and so consumed by the righteousness of their cause they think they can get away with anything...they blew it because of that and it pisses me off.

7. The prosecutor should be off the case and probably fired
That kind of behavior is very very avoidable. And a huge waste of tax payer money.

8. Yup, they did spend a fortune...
Hopefully the guy is gone...you gotta wonder, though, anyone who gets on the new jury is going to know the prosecution screwed up, do you think in the backs of their minds it's going to color their view? Like they're thinking the prosecution can't be trusted?

3. What happens next?
Do they start over with a new judge and jury?

5. If they choose to, yes.
A mistrial puts the whole process back to 'Go,' and the prosecutor's office has the discretion to re-start the trial...or not.

Remains to be seen.
