Jürgen Klinsmann off to an okay start



Mexico 1, USA 1 in Klinsmann's first match with the U.S. squad tonight in friendly in Philadelphia.

Klinsmann used several of the younger players and they came through with a second-half goal to tie Mexico. He had only had team practices for three days.

Next up will be friendlies with Costa Rica and Belgium next month.

1. Should have had a penalty and a red card in the second half...
...but you could argue that Cherundolo should have had a red in the first, so guess I can't complain too much about that.

2. Just wish the US could come up with a dynamic striker
That's the one thing we lack that every other major soccer power has. Well that and a deeper talent pool.
