Kickoff 3 weeks 9 hours.
I have been on vacation for 16 days in which I had planned to have an addition built, at least under roof. But because of the new monsoon season in the Bluegrass I have only dug the crawl & footer. Oh well, this summer pretty boring for me except the place I work/manage is coming off NCAA probation. We have taken care/ catered the training table before. I don't like doing it but my boss /the owner does. I do like access to the Team some. Mostly when we used to do it I went to see my old drinking buddy, Bill Keightley, Mr Wildcat, RIP.
I have known all the Coaches since Coach Rupp, he gave me a ride hitchhiking on Tates Creek Road in '71. He is misunderstood out of the state, mostly because of the lily white thing but it was the early 70's and Starkville and etc. still had a long way to go. That movie about UK - Texas Western was way off from reality. The only Coach I did not like was Rick Pitino, he had a kiss up kick down attitude. Karma sure paid him back and I wish him the best at Loserville.
All that said our local rag Lex Herald Leader has only had 2 or 3 days this year when the sports section didn't run a basketball story on pg. 1.
I am going back to watching the NFL again with Green Bay as my team. The Pack drafted one of my all time favorite and one of the most exiting players I have ever seen play in the SEC after seeing games since 1964. Vince Dooleys first game at Georgia, beating, who else but Kentucky at Sanford Stadium.

College Football is still my favorite sport and I hope everybody plays safe and has a great season. All that said'

1. Quite the excitement the last two days, era.
If I were a betting man, I'd say the SEC is about to expand once again. It be a GREAT move for A&M and the SEC. The Big 12 could survive it butif this were to happen...http://blogs.ajc.com/mark-bradley-blog/2011/08/11/texas-am-to-the-sec-will-happen-but-what-about-oklahoma/?cxntfid=blogs_mark_bradley_blog
