Ho-hum. Justin Verlander goes to 18-5, but gives up a run.
It's only his 14th win after a Tigers' loss this season. That's MVP stuff, not just Cy Young. But, he gave up a run. He's not supposed to do that anymore, after all. His 120th pitch was clocked at 98 MPH. What, he didn't hit 100 that late in the game? No staying power, either.

Can't imagine anyone else wanting the guy.

1. Twins had scoring changes in the 1st couple innings and blew it.
Then JV went into steamroller mode and, well, yeah...

I think Weaver'll get some votes (deservedly, cause he's been at Verlander's level this year), but I think the CY is Verlander's to lose at this point.
