Former NHL enforcer Belak found dead in Toronto
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Former Predator Wade Belak, an enforcer who had played with five NHL teams before retiring in March, has been found dead in Toronto.

The Predators learned of Belak's death from NHL security Wednesday. The team issued a statement saying the organization was shocked and sadden by his sudden death and offering full support to Belak's wife and two children.

Toronto police are investigating the cause of death, according to Canadian Press.

The 35-year-old Belak was scheduled to work as a sideline reporter on Nashville broadcasts. He played for Colorado, Calgary, Toronto, Florida and finished his career with Nashville, playing in 549 career NHL games with 1,263 penalty minutes and 33 points.

1. 35. Way too young. I fear what the cause was.

2. What's this "enforcer" shit?

And what does it have to do with normal family oriented sports?

3. Holy crap.
Wasn't there another young hockey death a week or two ago?

I hope (and know) Shanny will work on this, if this is anything hockey-related.
