but the silence is deafening from our Red Sox fans.

1. Red Sox have still won 11 of 15 from the Yankees..
Since both teams are assured of a playoff spot, I don't see how it really matters who wins the East..The Red Sox won one of their WS from the WC position anyway..

8. Even in 2007 I think the Yankees took the season series...

9. I agree that it doesn't really matter.
All that really matters is getting in the playoffs. Lots of teams have proven that.
