1. It's not a good year for beating fellow Protestants.
22 game home win streak - gone.
National ranking - gone.

2. WTF happened to THE Ohio State????
Michigan State couldn't even beat Noter Dame.

So when do all those free tattooed players return?

3. Ohio State had about 100 yards of offense after three quarters. It was more like
an offence to offense. Mighty good defence the Buckeyes have, though!

Who was the cupcake that Boise State played?

4. Nevada...
not nearly the sweet cupcake that Oklahoma is playing before Texas next week. Nevada beat them last year.

I'm going to be in San Antone for several weeks. Anything you want to see? Been to the Alamo?

I'm not driving to "the compound in Waco" though.

8. Son of a gun!
I'll probably be going to SA for a week in the first part of November. Family matters.

Have you ever been to the Menger Hotel? That's where the Rough Riders were formed. Pretty cool place and bar.

9. This Hawai'i guy would like to crack the malihini over the head with that iron skillet.

(malihini = roughly, the opposite of kama'aina)

First the SOB makes us drop the "Rainbow" from "Rainbow Warriors" because he thought it wasn't manly enough (this from a man named June!!!). Then he made the band stop playing the "Hawaii Five-O" theme. And then, of course, after he had already set his cap for the Polo Ponies, he mailed in our only shot at a BCS bowl game until sometime around 2134. :grr: :banghead:
