God, I love Boston
Last week, Manny got booed for loafing to first and mumbling about wanting to be traded. The fans still loved him, but booed him the way one would scold a recalcitrant child.

Tie game today, men on first and second, they walked Ortiz intentionally, and Manny comes in to pinch hit. The crowd explodes with cheers.

And Manny slaps a single, Sox take the lead, Fenway erupts.

Unreal.

5. I realize the deadline has passed
Doesn't mean everything's been announced. There are still games going on and to be played.

But I'm feeling confident.

Here in Portland we have some great players at the AA level. I hated to see them go.

As well as Manny or Mueller.

The Nation is at peace. :)
