That's SIX years younger than I am for crying out loud.

It's not uncommon however for former NFL professional football players.

All of that extra weight, all the lifting, all the stress and god only knows what kind of supplements are being pumped into these guys.

Reggie was a great player and a good man with a good heart.

He was out there screaming when they were burning black churches in Tennessee a few years back.

What kind of country do we live in where less than a decade ago they were burning black churches in Tennessee?

Reggie lost it with that speech he made where he said that "the Asians can take a watch and make it into a car" And that "Jewish people were good at managing money and investing"

and as far as Reggie's various "philosophies" go, I stopped mixing politics and professional sports years ago. or at least I try.

Reggie White was one of the greatest DEs to ever play the game and was an integral part of the great Philly "Gang Green" terror machine defenses of the late 80's and early 90's. I will forever hate Norman Braman for allowing Reggie to go to Green Bay without even making an offer.

What a terrible time for his family. He was a great football player.
