3. What an amazing game
That was probably the best hockey game I've been to. The Flames were totally flat until about midway through the second period.
The wild wound up with a 4-1 score before things got ugly. The refs called the Wild for at least 10 penalties while the Flames only got about 2. So we're looking at a 4-3 score with about 10 minutes left. The Wild scored to make it 5-3 and then Chouinard made it 6-3 on an empty net goal.

The lowlight of the night was having to watch not only Tim Pawlenty but also St Paul DINO Mayor Randy Kelly talk. Pawlenty got a lukewarm reception at best. At one point he meant to say puck and he accidentally said F*CK. His wife looked at him really quick as he corrected himself.

Kelly got A LOT of boos... and a couple YOU SUCKS!

How hypocritical! :rofl:

I was bouncing between the Wild game and baseball...I watched most of the third period however, and my heart was POUNDING out of my chest!
