1. For what it's worth
I saw these projections on ESPN a couple of days ago. Two of their writers projecting every bowl. Remarkable consensus on the top bowls. It doesn't paste well given the format so I'll just provide the link: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2194032

3. Major changes now

Miami losing to Ga Tech alters several bowl matchups and leaves Miami out of a BCS bowl. I'm sure they'll update that chart in a day or two.

4. Think they'll try for a Penn State--ND match-up?
It crossed my mind--two teams whose glory is mainly in the past--used to be perennially powerhouses, now experiencing a resurgence.

I tend to think not, but it might be interesting.

5. I think Fiesta will take Penn State
since they have first pick. And I'd say Oregon might be a good opponent in the Desert.

6. That's probably right

Penn St fans travel well and have a long history of going in droves to the Fiesta Bowl. After several down years no doubt they'll sell out the allotment and ask for more.

7. and then they'll give them a western team
if they can. That means Oregon, I think, they travel exceptionally well, and it would still be pac-ten/big-ten, which is the way life should be.
