4. That it was...
I sorta wanted USC to win, but am more than happy that a team from my state won.

Way to go UT :woohoo:

7. Only One?
Am I the only one who believes that bad calls had something to do with the outcome of the game? I will say that I was routing for USC. I think there were three bad calls made in this game that changed the game in favor of Texas. The first was when Young pitched the ball to a guy on his team and Young's knee was down before he pitched the ball. Second, on a 1 and 10 play another Texas player pitched the ball to a Texas player. This player also had his knee on the ground before he pitched the ball. Finally, Young passed the ball to a Texas player who fumbled the ball. The ball was then recovered by USC, but the officials called the play an incomplete pass instead of a fumble. I will acknowledge that the officials missed the call of the second Leinhart interception, but I somewhat felt the officials let that by in an attempt to make up for the bad call on the Young pitch. Considering the game was only won by 3 point it seems to me that the bad calls had something to do with the results.

8. The bad calls went both ways ...

In that kind of situation, where the bad calls are going both ways, it does little good to second-guess it.
