Soccer: US-Poland friendly
Some thoughts on my end, around minute 75:

- Every time I see Onyewu, I'm more impressed. He's wearing out the Polish attackers, using his prodigious strength in ways that cannot possibly be interpreted as anything other than good, solid defense (i.e., a foul)

- Eddie Johnson is going to be a top striker a few years from now, but he's not there yet. I'm still unimpressed with Twellman as an international striker, but that could change over the next couple of months. If it doesn't, that position might be the US team's one major weakness.

- Clint Dempsey has played very, very well. He took the goal well, he's been generally in the flow of play throughout, and has even come back and defended nicely on a couple of occassions. He could be to the 2006 cup what Beasley/Donovan were to the 2002 cup for the US. I referred to right midfield as a weakness for the US a few months ago - that position is now filled, I think.
