Jordan is back on the court
Banner night for Loyola, Jordan

For Loyola, it was all about the banner.

It had seemed like an eternity since the last time the Ramblers won a sectional final and advanced to the Sweet 16.

On Friday night at Niles West, Loyola put an end to three decades of frustration, winning its first sectional title since 1976.

"To be able to put our name on that banner—that's all we were talking about all week," Loyola's Matt Steger said.

Loyola (27-3) overcame a 10-point deficit in the first quarter to beat Von Steuben 72-57 and advance to Tuesday's DePaul supersectional against Marshall.

Jeff Jordan scored 26 points and had 10 rebounds for the Ramblers, while Steger added 16 points and three steals. Matt Perkaus added 10 points.

Yes, that is MJ's son, he's a junior, 40" vertical leap, 6'-2" guard and growing. Apparently doesn't stick his tongue out while shooting tho, lol.

1. on a completely unrelated side note
Why aren't there like, 5,000 little Wilt Chamberlain's playing ball around the country? You'd think for a man who had sex with 10,000 women that some of them would have had his kids.

2. LOL, there may be for all we know
I was just thinking about that on my way to the office, except about MJ. According to rumors anyway there could be dozens of little MJ's out there too.
