On the other hand, our big ol' lineman Bryant McKinnie cut some nice fat checks to the Dems and even wrote a pro-Kerry op/ed for the Star Trib.

Tice totally put some stink-ass karma on my Vikes. Thanks a lot, coach. Grrrr.

6. At least Tice didn't endorse Bush

He made an appearance because he thought it would be cool to appear with the president. Tice didn't endorse anyone for president, and claimed to be undecided at the time.

10. Please. You don't just "make an appearance" during a campaign.

He wasn't undecided. Geez. At least Sherman and Mariucci were fully honest about their dittoheaded nonsense. I don't know who Lovie Smith supported, but the NFC North is definitely filled with GOPers, and that's a sad state for this lifelong NFC Central/North fan to live with.

5. I'd like to be confident going into this game.

But without Moss, the team has no zip. It will depend on which Packer team shows up - the one that went 1-4 to start the year with 3 embarrassing losses at home, or the one that ripped off 3 wins in a row to get back in the race.

Does anybody know if Mewelde Moore will be playing?
