The Ryan Howard MVP thread
Okay, so the Phils pitching sucks this year, and Phils ain't going anywhere without decent pitching

But Ryan freakin Howard just hit his 53rd home run this game (we were there!), and hit 3 home runs in one game this weekend.

He was NL rookie of the year last year, and he's having an amazing sophmore year. He and Utley are a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating year.

He's invincible!

2. MVP all the way.
Tonights game was great. Our starting pitching is getting good, its just our relievers that make me want to jump off a tall building. By the way, they need to move Utley out of the 3rd spot. He has not been the same since his collision with Rowand.

3. True, but was at that game last weekend where he saved the day
Two outs, bottom of the tenth, tie game, he hits a home run. So that looked good, but he hasn't been the Utley who was on a streak earlier this year.

Glad to have Howard on board - getting some excitement going right now!
