2. Love that subject line PDittie
Isn't there a baseball team in the world series this year which had a miserable record last year??

Lets scratch the Dolphins and Raiders.

Saints-Colts would be sweeter then a powder-sugar ladened beignet on Decatur Street.

4. Remember the Titans
Suck. Well, all but Vince. (Won't be the Texans playing them, either.)

Saints-Colts sounds good to me.

3. Not Going
Even though the Saints are having a great years I do not think they will make it to the Superbowl. In addition, I do think the Bears have a chance to go to the Superbowl. I understand the Saints have beaten the Eagles, but I still do not think they will make it out of the playoffs. They would have to go through the Panthers and the Panthers seem to be playing very well at this time. Also the saints still have a numbers of games left. I think some of the teams they will play can beat them. So I do not think the are going to the Superbowl even though they have a great team this year.

7. The Saskatchewan Rough Riders
who are planning to join the NFL in 2046- The 2052 Super Bowl will be played, outside, in Montreal to a throng of 120,000, and the Rough Riders will beat the Omaha Saints 42-41 in Overtime.

8. It's Roughriders, hoser
Amazingly, the tiny CFL has two teams with the similar name; it's Ottawa who are the Rough Riders (two words), which could make for an interesting Grey Cup one of these days: "And at halftime, it's the Roughriders 14 and the Rough Riders 13..."

GEAUX SAINTS!

14. As much as I dislike them, the Bears will win the NFC.
But they'll lose the Super Bowl to Denver.

16. It seemed to me last Sunday
that neither Chicago or Seattle wanted to play the next game. In my head, I truly believe the Saints can beat anyone left. Cool Brees has an incredible offensive arsenal.

17. Bears Defense
I would really like to see the Saints in the Superbowl, but can Brees handle the Bears defense. It seems that the defense is what has kept the Bears in games. In addition, Grossman played pretty well in the last game. So can the Saints pull it off?

Finally I do not think the Colts will be going to the superbowl. I think the Patriots will be able to beat the Colts even though Venatari plays for them now. Manning has not played very well in the last few games and I do not think the Colts have played a team with as good of an offense and quarterback as the Patriots. So if the Saints do go it will be the Saints and the Patriots.

18. If
hasselbeck can score 24 points in Chicago I don't believe Brees will have any problem and I'll go out on a limb here and say the Saints offense is mucho better then the Seahawks. With Grossman's history his next game should be a down one. You are right, Manning has not played very well and yet the Colts keep winning. 16 points against the Ravens in Baltimore equals how much against the Pats in the friendly confines of Indy Stadium? And the Colts defense has apparently found itself. Hopefully this Sunday of football will be much better then last Sunday. Too much sloppy, ugly, yucky, tacky play last Sunday.

20. Don't forget the running game. New Orleans can run the ball.
That should take them all the way.

23. I have to say, based on what Seattle did, I'm optimistic, too.
Bears may have a great defense, but N.O. brings a much better offense then the Bears faced Sunday, and Seattle scored 24.

Plus our defense is underrated. Philly was mostly held in check other than those two big plays, and they were the No. 2 offense in the NFL. Although some say it's N.O.'s Achilles' heel, I don't think Chicago has the big play capability of Philly. Actually, I think turnovers are our Achilles' heel. If the Saints turn the ball over less than 2 times, I think we'll win.

19. Saints defense will fare better against Bears offense
so the Saints won't need much in the way of scoring to win, because they might just shut out the Bears. The Saints just played like they had been to the playoffs before, whereas the Chargers did not. The penalties and mistakes San Diego made late in the game gave Brady's patented 4th quarter comeback the look of a foregone conclusion. And Belichick will game-plan a stop of Manning, just as he has in the past. This year the Colts are a paper tiger. If the Texans can beat them, the Patriots sure can.

Saints and Pats in the Supe.
