Well did Rogers cheat or what?

Based on what you have read or saw do you believe Kenny Rogers cheated by using a foreign substance?

Gaylord Perry, the Hall of Famer and renowned spitball pitcher, was a busy man Monday. He said he got 16 phone calls from reporters wanting his take on the Kenny Rogers incident, interrupting his work on his 58-acre farm in North Carolina.

"I've been on a tractor bush-hogging and moving dirt, and every 30 minutes I have to stop to talk to someone," Perry said. "That's all right. It's about baseball."

Perry watched Sunday night's World Series game and said he thought Tigers pitcher Rogers was using pine tar for a better grip on the ball.

"I never used pine tar," Perry said. "I've played with guys who used it and against guys who used it. A baseball is slick in cold weather, especially. A lot of pitchers used pine tar to get a better grip on the ball when it's cold and slick. It's been used for 100 years, as far as I know."
