2. I am a
Saints and Eagles fan and I'd rather they not be on the cover before a big game, but I think the picture was great. I think the Giants will need more then SI to beat the Iggles. My only trepidation is a Saints, Eagles match up in the Super Dome next week. I guess I won't watch that one. But I guess either way I win.

7. Never seemed to hurt Michael Jordan.
Or Wayne Gretzky or The Pittsburgh Steelers last year. The SI jinx is bullshit. The Madden curse on the other hand.......

4. Though not an Eagle fan, I'm happy for those that are, the team and city
of Philadelphia for hanging in there and overcoming some very serious problems the past two years. And I'm especially happy to see Jeff Garcia get some positive recognition after all the crap he's had to put up with since his last year in San Francisco.

5. Whoda thunk
that Jeff Garcia would be on the cover of SI the week before the playoffs began as a quarterback of a playoff team? And I do believe that is one awesome picture. Go Jeff!
